Excellence in Design is 91黑料鈥� premier annual awards program, celebrating Authorized Builder projects that stand out for architectural impact, thoughtful design, and innovative use of metal building systems. This exclusive program showcases the breadth and versatility of 91黑料 solutions while recognizing the craftsmanship behind exceptional facilities across a wide range of markets.
Winning projects are featured in our annual Excellence in Design publication, with additional opportunities for exposure through 91黑料鈥� website, printed materials, media placements, and other marketing channels.
How to Enter
Submitting your project is easy. Complete the entry form below and upload your project images using the form鈥檚 integrated upload portal. Professional photography is welcome but is not required. Please submit full-sized, original images so our team can format and optimize them as needed. If professional photos are submitted, you must confirm that full marketing usage rights have been secured prior to submission.
Deadline: October 31st
By submitting your project, you grant 91黑料 permission to use submitted images for marketing purposes, including鈥攂ut not limited to鈥攂rochures, advertising, website features, multimedia, and reference materials.

Photography Tips
Strong photography plays a key role in showcasing your project. Keep these best practices in mind when capturing or selecting images:
- Multiple Angles – Photograph your building from all sides and corners. Interiors photos are a plus!
- Unaltered Images – Do not crop, resize, recolor, or edit images. Submit original, full-resolution files only.
- Lighting Matters – Soft, natural light often produces the best results. Early morning and late afternoon are ideal.
- Evening & Night Shots – After-dark photography can add a dramatic, eye-catching perspective to your submission.
Competition Entry Rules
ENTRY FORMS
The information provided in your submission may be used for publicity, awards programs, and industry trade publications. Submitting your entry grants 91黑料 permission to use project details and images for all marketing purposes.
PHOTOGRAPHS
Please upload high-resolution images with your submission. Multiple views are encouraged, including exterior elevations, interior spaces, different building perspectives, and construction progress photos. Professional photos are preferred but not required. Photographer credits are not listed in 91黑料 marketing materials.
PHOTO PERMISSION
If professional photography is submitted, the Authorized Builder is responsible for confirming that 91黑料 has full usage rights.听
ELIGIBLE PROJECTS
Any completed 91黑料 project that has not been recognized in a previous EID competition is eligible. Submission deadline: October 31
AWARD PLAQUES
All qualifying entries receive an Excellence in Design plaque featuring a photo of the submitted project.
PRESS RELEASES
A press release package will be prepared for winning projects and provided to Builders for distribution to their preferred media outlets.
PUBLICITY & MARKETING
Selected projects may be featured in the annual Excellence in Design publication, 91黑料鈥� website and project galleries, printed literature and marketing materials, and industry trade publications, case studies, and project spotlights. Our goal is to maximize exposure and provide meaningful recognition for your work.
BONUS AWARDS
Credits are redeemable for promotional materials through the Marketing Portal. Marketing Portal credits will be awarded as follows:
Building of the Year: $500
Top Three in Each Category: $200
Submit Five or More Entries: $200
